About Tony
Through my own personal and professional journey, I understand the challenges in uncovering and following your internal compass, particularly when it may conflict with environmental influences. I have a particular passion for helping people navigate their identities and find their own authentic balance on the continuums of connection and autonomy; risk and safety; and adventure with comfort of the familiar.
Prior to opening my practice, I worked in a variety of professional settings. I helped individuals and couples navigate relationships, sexuality, identity development, and new life stages at a group practice. I also provided individual psychotherapy at an outpatient mental health clinic, and facilitated psycho-educational and support groups at a community day treatment program for those living with severe mental illness. As a clinician at a university counseling center, I worked with students around anxiety, depression, and coming-of-age concerns.
In addition to my work as a psychotherapist, I coach non-profit managers and small business entrepreneurs around business development and aligning their businesses with their personal values. Before entering the mental health and personal growth fields, I helped hundreds of individuals and families navigate the decisions and life transitions associated with moving to a new home. And in my first career, social causes were at the forefront of my work managing public advocacy and public relations campaigns.
